I live in the west almost my whole 74 year's life and I know exactly what their so-called democratic values and moral are. The author in the article clearly is trying to run down Singapore's economic policies and pointing out the ramifications if the government is not going to alter its policy treating Chinese national doing business in Singapore. In other words he is supporting the US and it's western vassals their rule-based order is the ideology every one has to abide otherwise you will be sanctioned. Get the drift now.
