Salman, you have written an excellent insight on Pakistan's terrorism-related problems . Pakistan still suffers from a high number of lethal attacks by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, due to its ambiguous approach to the terrorist threat. Such a policy has also been dictated by events at home and in neighbouring Afghanistan since the 1970s. Political instability and the role played by the military, which sometimes has misunderstood the terrorism landscape, have also contributed to the growth of domestic terrorist groups. There is no military solution to the internal conflict neither with TTP nor with the insurgency in Balochistan. A political road map must be implemented to put an end to the internal conflict with those groups and restore peace and stability in the affected provinces. This should also include investments in those areas, which have always been neglected, such as education, health and the economy.
