Malaysia’s Exim Bank in Probe

Bank Negara Malaysia Malaysia’s Exim Bank, launched in 1995 as part of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad’s expansive industrial policy, appears to be under investigation by the country’s Anti-Corruption agency after charges were lodged last week by a former bank employee who alleged that Bank Negara, the country’s central bank, had declined to act against two officials of the establishment.
