India really has to choose a side. If it chooses the one that includes pariah states like China and Russia, and failed states like South Africa, then it'll be on to a loser IMHO.
BTW Looking at the human rights and democratic records of the litany of other states trying to join BRICS, it's a sad parade of failure and mis-management.
