Decoding Li-konomics

Despite the fate of Abenomics being still unclear, some economists and mass media organisations have embraced this as a buzzword. But does new Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's economic policy deserve its own moniker, 'Likonomics'? Unlike Abenomics, which aims to end deflation and create growth, Likonomics purports to ensure China will develop sustainably through growth deceleration and structural reforms. Premier Li has called for striking a balance between long-term structural reforms and short-term economic growth.
