We allow our readers the widest possible latitude and normally do not respond to complaints. But in this case you are impugning both my integrity and that of Asia Sentinel by implying that we have slanted our reportage for compensation. That is actionable on its face if we chose to pursue it, including in Singapore's courts, which have an extraordinary sensitivity to defamation. We suggest you withdraw that comment at the earliest opportunity.

Why are these Westerners “so concerned “ for us ? They should look into their own backyard and critique their own leaders . We are doing fine and will continue to do fine! No need to stir shit .

While this is an interesting read but the lack of real sources and inside insights made this more of an opinion piece rather than factual. The selected use of views is quite bias and lack understanding of the true views of Singaporeans.

This govt has lost it's way and the manner in which the PM's wife behaves herself posting on FB about covid-19 and pushing fo vaccination as the only way out of the pandemic is totally bizarre, further flaming the divide Singapore is experiencing now.
