CRY!

Mahathir Mohamad was the best leader Malaysia ever had, and he gave the Malays what they deserve. They are the most generous and respectable people in the world, and everyone else must respect and APPRECIATE that. Otherwise, you are ungrateful and vile.

His policy ( since 1980s) of segregation and division-"Muslims vs others", Malay vs Non Malay, Bumiputra vs Non Bumiputra, and Citizens vs pendatang" damaged Malaysia's multiracial, religious society. His so called "affirmative action policy" encouraged rampant corruption. Divisions in Malaysia between the elite Muslims are very clear now. To consolidate and deflect these serious deficiencies, Non Muslims are blamed and radical ideas are encouraged ( Timah as an example).

I am an retired Army Veteran who have served my country under the UN Peace Keeping force in Congo in 1962. Although as a soldier I don't involve in politics but I do keep tract of events that involves my community since for the past 64 years since independence. I can proudly say that in the beginning we all, the Malays. Chinese and Indians assimilated well as one Malaysian family with the full support of our then community leaders like Tun V.T. Sambanthan and Tan Sri Manikavasagam who devoted themselves for the good of the community. The rot started when Tun Samy Vellu took over as MIC President under the then leadership of Tun Mahathir. The Indians were systemetically margianalised from the mainstream of development by Tun Mahathir sine he took over as PM of Malaysia. MIC a party supposed to protect the rights of the Indians whose President played hand in hand with Mahathir. Both made their fortune leaving the Indian community to what it is today. It is sad that the hard work put up by the community in building this country Malaysia what it is today was not given due recognition except to call us "pendatang". The future of the Indian community in Malaysia looks bleak unless the Malays accept us as what we are inclusive as "Malaysian family" with our cultural background intact. As far I know, over the years, there are some well to do Indians especially the professionals had already migrated overseas. I hope this trend will not continue as we Indians always put ourselves as Malaysians first and we will give our life for this our country Malaysia. God bless the Indian community.

The Malaysian Chinese lost almost 20 percentage points in racial composition within 2 generations.

People like Mahathir is playing the long game. The time will come in the next 2 generations when the Malays will occupy almost 85 to 90 percent of the population. Project M in Sabah is evidence of his long term planning.

The Sabahans and Sarawakians should seriously consider withdrawing from Malaysia before it's too late. And for the non Malays, they should migrate if given the chance.

I foresee the situation not getting any better. In fact, with PAS in the picture, I wonder if the nons can live in a talibanised Malaysia

History will know him as a despicable leader nothing short of infamy and ignominy; sadly though he has destroyed a once harmonious and successful country to one which is now in disarray with racial tension running high and a mediocre economy while his children and cronies have become super rich, leaving behind a large B40 comprising largely of rural Malays and the natives from both East and West Malaysia.

It is ironic that Mahathir is obsessed with Malay racial supremacy ( and uses that to get Malays to rally around) when he himself by his lineage is far from being Malay - a migrant of mixed Parentage of Indian origin
