It´s sad to see how brainwashed the locals, and many foreigners living here, are. It´s worryingly similar to China, except China could at least produce their own vaccine. Here we´re all paying for the gov´s terrible decisions and lack of planning and most people seem perfectly fine with and, wave the flag and praise the local authorities for 3 rotten cabbages they get every few days. Ridiculous. No one here seems to understand that even if we manage to get back to almost zero cases, it´s only a matter of time before covid is back one way or another. We´ve already been through it and you´d think they learned but apparently they haven´t.
If you're feeling like this now, I dread to think what you'll be like when the lockdowns continue. Which they will, possibly intermittently but definitely extended a few more times. It will be 2022 before we see any sort of normality or until a large proportion of the population are vaccinated, which will be much later as currently just under 3% are fully vaccinated
