*slow claps in approval* And THIS is why freedom of navigation and respect for maritime law is so important internationally. Both of which China has studiously tried to undermine for over a decade now in its myopic mentality of establishing neo-imperial dominion over the South China Sea and within the First Island Chain. Not to mention Xi's fixation on claiming Taiwan by force or otherwise into the folds of the Middle Kingdom.
