The third glaring inaccuracy: "But, said a knowledgeable source, that isn’t going to happen. The negotiations over the establishment of the unity government didn't feature any mention of the two, largely because the MIC and the MCA played a major role in the negotiations." This is simply untrue. They were completely sidelined. I recommend 30 to 40 minutes of desktop research and then the republication of a corrected article.

Thank you. Here's a tip. There are efforts underway already to topple Anwar, and the much-lauded (in your previous article) MCA is involved. The ascendancy of PH means that MCA and MIC are now irrelevant, as PH takes 90% of Chinese and Indian votes currently. They certainly don't want Anwar to succeed.

"The currency slumped from MYR229.35 to the US dollar on January 1 to MYR210.26 before recovering sharply in the wake of the election. " Wrong currency. The MYR is between 4 and 5 to the USD, not over 200!

"Reportedly the Malaysian Indian Congress and the Malaysian Chinese Association were the motive forces in the Barisan Nasional, bringing along a reluctant United Malays National Organization into the fold."

This is the exact opposite of what happened.

They were part of the 10 MPs who signed and then recalled SDs in favour of Muhyiddin.

Zahid overruled them and pledged 30 BN MPs to Anwar.
