The risks that must be mitigated in some countries are the widespread corruption and policies that may be biased in favor or certain parties. The possibility of remedies may also may be more on the statute books and in the periodical announcements by political leaders of fairness, ethics, honesty, integrity, etc which may be more of slogans rather than compliance or enforcement.
